About Us

The business was founded in 1974 under the name of Arnold and Walker. After Philip Walker’s retirement in 1979 I continued the business here in Needham Market with a shop at 77 High Street selling both quality old tools and books both new and old. The shop has now been let to Classic Hand Tools who will continue to sell new and currently in-print books on tools and trades to personal callers as well as selling high quality new and old woodworking tools while I am operating under the name of Roy Arnold Books from the same address in another part of the building selling new and current books as well as a large selection of out of print, old, and antiquarian books on the above subjects by mail.
